Our Commitment to the Breed

Brookeridge Labradors is committed to developing Labradors that adhere to the breed standards set forth by the American Kennel Club and the Labrador Retriever Club of America.  Labrador retrievers come in only three colors: black, yellow, and chocolate.  Yellows can range from light cream to fox red in color.  We do not breed for designer colors or crosses.

If you are looking for a quality English Labrador Retriever and are willing to travel to get a puppy or dog, you may be looking in the right place.  We do not ship dogs…..too many things can go wrong.

Our dogs and puppies are all registerable with AKC.  Parents are all tested and cleared for orthopedic issues (hips and elbows), eyes (CERF), available genetic health tests, and hearts are cleared by canine cardiologists using color echograms.  In short we do everything we can to ensure that puppies we produce are as healthy and free of genetic disorders as is possible.
